For an identification, appraisal, dating or valuation service we charge a set fee of £50.00 sterling per clock, payable in advance by cheque (cards not taken) drawn on a British branch of any bank.

We carry a large stock of British clocks dating from the seventeenth century to about 1870, principally longcase clocks, with a handful of bracket clocks and lantern clocks as well as occasional hooded clocks, hook-and-spike wall clocks, and tavern clocks. Clocks made outside Britain are not normally stocked, nor are watches. If you want advice regarding a potential purchase from us, or if you are looking for a clock of a particular type or by a particular maker, why not give us a ring? Individual prices of items on this site, or a full list of prices, will be sent on request.

Whilst we are more than happy to advise potential customers regarding a purchase from ourselves, we regret we are not in business for the purpose of offering a free internet advice service for other clock queries or valuations of whatever nature, whether regarding a clock you own or a potential purchase from some other source. Please do not enquire about valuations unless you are willing to pay the fee.
